How To Save Time In Your Ministry With MPEG Streamclip for Mac & Windows

MPEG Streamclip for Mac and Windows…what is that?

Imagine you’ve asked your volunteers for footage of church events, and when you finally get something…you can’t edit it. It’s like your video editor doesn’t realize you have a video file. Or worse, you combine multiple videos and the final product looks like a middle-school AV project.

If you don’t have to imagine that…if that’s happened to you…I’ve got a new tool for you that’ll make your video editing experience so much easier…

Introducing MPEG Streamclip For Mac & Windows

This is one of my favorite video tools. I’ve been using it since 2006 and I use it 3 times a week minimum.  It’s not glamourous.  It’s not sexy.  It just works – like a hoss.  It’s never let me down actually.  In fact, footage has to be REAL obscure (weird codec or format) or just flat out corrupted in order for it to not work with Mpeg Streamclip.

MPEG Streamclip is available for Mac and Windows. It lets you transcode footage, change frame rate, change bitrate, convert file formats, and more.

My favorite uses for MPEG Streamclip

  1. Fixing variable frame rate issues from cell phones or skype recordings
  2. Trimming footage that doesn’t really need any editing.
  3. Batch transcoding clips or finished videos.

Conclusion

In church media ministry, it’s imperative to never turn away footage that’s been given to us. If we turn down someone giving us media, they may stop capturing footage we need.

This means that we have to deal with phone footage or an old Sony-cam recording. But thankfully MPEG Streamclip for Mac and Windows makes our jobs a whole lot easier.   When you need to just fix it, or get in there, trim and get moving on, it’s GREAT.

Convert footage into something you can use with its variety of settings and options…all within an easy-to-use interface.

Download MPEG Streamclip and keep it in your digital toolbox for when the occasion arises.
